An affiliate link is a specific link given to affiliates to promote a product or service of a company. If someone purchases from this link then a sales commission is given to the affiliate at no extra cost to the buyer. For example if a product is $5, you can buy this same product from the company directly or through an affiliate of the company, but in both cases it’s still usually going to cost you $5. The only difference is the affiliate of the company makes a sales commission.
